Location:
Hópsnes, also known as Þórkötlustaðanes, is a peninsula by Grindavík. Many ships have stranded on Hópsnes and some can be seen from the road. Information signs are along the road on the peninsula.

Solving the Mystery:
Stop at the information boards along the road. Take note of the day of the month the ships stranded.
