GENERAL RULES FOR CACHING IN IRAQ: This cache is located in a war zone. It is on a coalition controlled installation. You will need proper credentials to gain access to the area. Do not post logs that give any references to what is around the cache site or might otherwise compromise OPSEC.
Wait a minute........these aren't raisins!
Container is the old Altoids tin used for Stairway to Heaven which sadly had to be deactivated due to GZ being off limits now. Cache container holds a couple pogs and an iraqi coin (left over from STH cache) plus, as a FTF prize, I have placed a "buggy" but "stimulating" item related to a non-profit that benefits wounded and recovering soldiers--be careful when handling it. Coordinates place you very close to cache. A little investigating should make you successful. Lots of muggle activity at times. BYOP. This is my first cache placement---constructive feedback is appreciated.
Update: 27 Dec 2011. US forces have left Al Asad. Decided to leave cache behind with trackable, FTF prize and also GC Info sheet with arabic translation. You never know who will pick up geocaching. Would like to leave it active for at least 3 years. If no hits by then, am open to inactivating it.
Update 12 Feb 2015: Well, it's been over three years and was thinking about archiving it but based on recent news that reports US Marines at Al Asad, I'll continue to leave it here. Would request that whoever picks it up get the trackable moving along. Thanks. And if you see any ISIS MF's---shoot em in the face!
