Church Micro 2120…Witney Traditional Cache

Holy Trinity Church stands on Wood Green on the north side of Witney, a little church on the village green near the pub. The town of Witney has grown to include the earlier village of Woodgreen, (the model for the village of Thrush Green in the books by Miss Read), but the church still has a distinct village character and strong links with the local neighbourhood.

The church is neo-Gothic in design and was built in 1848. The inside of the building was re-ordered in 2004 making it an accessible and flexible building for everyone to use
