Geocache Description:

These caches have been set to celebrate my 40th Birthday. One for every year of my life. The cache container is:
round orange tub

Terry Waite is kidnapped and remains hostage until 1991.

In music: Rick Astley has the best selling single with Never Gonna Give You Up; M|A|R|R|S goes number one on birthday-day with Pump Up The Volume; Pet Shop Boys have the Christmas number one with Always on My Mind.

Also in 1987: golliwogs are banned from Enid Blyton books (they were replaced with gnomes?!?); IKEA opens first British store; Loch Ness Monster fails to be located by Operation Deepscan; Channel Tunnel construction begins.
