Geocache Description:

Howdy!

After 5 and a half years, BGTx has reached and passed the 500 hide barrier and is having an event and a challenge to commorate the milestone.

THE EVENT -

Sunday, November 13 at Hutto Lake Park Pavilion. TIME - 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be cake, punch, and door prizes for all attending.

THE CHALLENGE -

There will be several categories and prizes will be awarded to the top cacher(s)in each one. Winners will not need to be present to win, but they must enter.

You enter by publishing a bookmark list of all your BGTx finds, or by posting a picture of your BGTx Find Status from your profile page.
Only cachers who submit their lists and/or a profile photo will be in the running for these prizes.
The categories include(but are not limited to)the following;

1. Most BGTx caches found.
2. Most BGTx events attended.
3. Farthest BGTx cache found -
Measured in miles from cachers home to cache
4. Farthest BGTx event attended.
NOTE - Winter Texans attending Valley events
while in the Valley for the winter do not get the
mileage from their 'home' state (sorry!)
Finally, please post or tell me which category(ies) you are entering, please!

BTW, both active and archived hides are allowed for this contest.

The challenge entry deadline is Saturday, November 12, 2011 at noon. You must post your entry by then to be the running!!!!!

Everyone is welcome to come to the event and there will be a door prize drawing for all attendees (you do need to be present for this).
