The path begins at the pull off and continues through the field. At the stone triangle, turn right and stay on the Buckeye trail along the ridge.
The cache is a camouflage painted, 6-inch, PVC pipe. Goodies inside include a harmonica, free zoo pass, Foster Brown CD and other great stuff. The hole punch in this cache is a spiral. If you find a disposable camera, take a photo of yourself or your group. The best photo of the year will be featured in the Cleveland Metroparks Emerald Necklace Newsletter.
Cleveland Metroparks has placed 6 Geocaches within its borders. People who seek and find several of our caches will be invited to an end of the year celebration and be eligible for prizes. There is a different hole punch in each of our caches. Sometime in February a brochure will be available with a scorecard to record each of the hole punches. You can pick up a brochure at any of the Cleveland Metroparks Nature Centers or by e-mailing your name and address to Geocaching@clevelandmetroparks.com. You can also download a copy of the scorecard by visiting www.clevelandmetroparks.com.
To be eligible for our end of the year celebration please register your participation by e-mailing us, or calling (440) 247-7075.
