Set at the head of a wooded valley, there are three approach options, all wooded paths, one route has a steep clamber at the end up the side of the waterfall. Rocks very slippery when wet. In winter do not attempt to cross the waterfall other than the stepping stones. In summer there is much less water flow.
The last part of the approach from the west gets overgrown in the summer - take a stick!
