Hoe goed kent u Brussel ? Weinig zullen volmondig ‘ja‘ zeggen, want zelf de inwoners ontdekken nog regelmatig nieuwe plekjes in onze fantastische hoofdstad waar meer pareltjes te ontdekken zijn dan Manneken Pis & het Atomium.
Het lijkt de laatste jaren dat Brussel zijn charmes verloren heeft en men er liever wegblijft… uit angst, of is er een andere reden? Langs deze reeks caches nodigen we jullie graag uit om ‘Ons Brussel’ te ontdekken, en dan zijn zeer zeker niet alleen de klassiekers. Hopelijk krijgen jullie dan een andere mooiere kijk op deze prachtige stad.
Door de vele gebouwen ( metaal & ander materiaal) kan de GPS afwijking enorm groot worden... maar geen getreur... de meeste caches spreken voor zich en zal het vinden niet een probleem worden.
Bloemenhof.
Wie het bloemenhof niet kent, kent dus ook het spinnekopke niet....
Een mooi en rustig pleintje waar je in de zomer zeker eens op een terraske je moet neer zetten....
Aan de ene zijde vanhet pleintje heb je de campus van ULB. Aan de overkant vind je een restaurant 'het spinnekopke' waar je zeker eens binnen moet gaan.

Many people think they know Brussels, but when you live here for a while, you start to wander around and discover more and more about this beautifull city!
Through this series of caches I try to show some more but certainly less known place of Brussels. Most of the time the cache isn't hard to find, you will have more troubbles with mugglers or deflection of your GPS.
Maximiliaanpark.
This place looks a bit provincial is officially since 1955. Before - and for a long time - there was just one anonymous hub formed by the junction of six roads leading to the square. The City Council wanted it recalls the name of the famous coffee-Guingette Bloemenhof, which for a century the major attraction of the rue des Six Chips.
Intresting to know:
In 't Spinnekopke (spider's web) is one of Brussels' oldest restaurants, something reflected in the old-style cooking. Beer seems to be used to flavour everything, giving the menu an authentic, if not sweet-tasting, Belgian feel.
Inside is dark, cosy and atmospheric, right down to the little beer corner where you can sit and sup a glass. In the summer a large street terrace opens the restaurant out.
