[IT] La cache è la prima di una serie dedicata a crimini
commessi a Venezia nel passato. L'idea è stata presa dal geocoin
Cache Movers Crime Scene e realizzata grazie al contributo del
sito Venezia
Criminale. Gli eventi riportati sono confermati dall'autore
tramite la ricerca negli archivi. Questo primo luogo è
particolarmente significativo, perché oltre al crimine passato, il
campo in cui la cache è nascosta un tempo era un cimitero, come si
può dedurre dal nome "Campo Santo".
Gli eventi
San Simeon Grando. Anno 1774. Venerdi sera viene trovata nella
calle Longa una donna priva di vita. Domenica De Pieri viene
accoltellata sei volte. Di questo delitto verrà accusato Pietro
Ratti amante della stessa. Fuggirà lontano dai confini della
Serenissima.

[ENG] This is the first in a series of caches dedicated
to crimes committed in Venice in the past. We got the idea from the
Cache Movers Crime Scene geocoin and then realized with the
help of the website Venezia Criminale. The
following events are confirmed by the author with research in the
official archives. This first spot is particularly meaningful
because, aside the past crime, the square in which the cache is
hidden used to be a graveyard, as you can tell by the name "Campo
Santo" (AN Camposanto means Graveyard in old italian).
The events
San Simeon Grando. Year 1774. The lifeless body of a woman is
found in calle Longa on a friday evening. Domenica De Pieri has
been stabbed six times. Pietro Ratti, the woman's lover, will be
charged with the murder . He will then escape far from the borders
of Serenissima.
