Crabtree Fields Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Deceangi: Rather than keep this cache temporarily disabled (which should only be used for shortish periods) I'm archiving it. If/when the cache is ever replaced I'll gladly unarchive it assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Please avoid geolitter by removing any remaining traces of your cache or contact a local cacher to do so for you. If you are having difficulty doing so then please contact me via my profile and I will try to get someone to assist. This is particularly important if your cache appears to contain Travelbugs or Geocoins.

Geocache Description:

A suspended nano cache in an oasis of calm between Tottenham Court Road and Charlotte Street. Bring a pen. Please replace carefully, it hangs from a hook please make sure it is actually attached. Some cachers have found it on the ground.

Crabtree Fields is a small park in a crowded and chaotic area of London. A place to relax away from the office, shops and bustle. If you have young children there's a great playground towards the back. Stay awhile and enjoy the calm. The cache is a nano, now a small black metal cannister, hanging from a hook (it is NOT magnetic). Please replace carefully. You may want to log on one of the benches in and outside, or sneak to one of the many cafes nearby for privacy as it may be very busy with Muggles, especially at a sunny lunchtime. It's a safe place, watched over as it is by the British Transport Police building opposite. The park is child friendly & wheelchair accessible, but small children & wheelchair users may need a companion to get to the cache. Note that the park opens at 7.30 am and closing time varies - on posting (7 Sep 2011) it was 7.30 pm. This is my first cache, so I hope you enjoy & look forward to hearing from you.
