Geocache Description:

A bit of a stroll along the old Whaler's Watch. Team Wendycat decided to strike. The cache is a large black container.

This area of the coast was utilized as a Whaling watch. Before then the natives of the area resided in and around this area. Here could be found abundant game and sustenance year-round. Unfortunately the rocks and tide dashed many a sailors dreams to splinters on this bit of the coast. The anchor in front of The Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is from one of many shipwrecks off this area. Today it provides a nice, brisk, hike with a beautiful view of the surf. Enjoy the hunt!
