Geocache Description:

Well, things are hotting up here in the den. Every morning at 0400hrs, an alarm sounds, and Daddybear heads out into the garden to hide 30 geocaches. At 0500hrs, Mummybear and Babybear commence the search - a few quick 'base of tree' type film pots, and then its onto something more tricky... Once all 30 have been found, there's a quick 5 mile sprint for a FTF, and a fancy dress challenge to complete before breakfast.

Why? Why?

In 2012 three of the worlds most famous sporting events come to the UK - the olympic games, the paralympic games and... THE GEOLYMPIX!

Yes, its time to start your training schedule now, and as a little personal challenge to you all, we present our going for gold cache! Once you have completed one task from each of the sections, you may go and find the physical cache!

Only once you have claimed the cache can you display the going for gold achievement badge as part of your profile!

Don't worry, there's no end date to this cache, I'm sure there will be more geocaching events this will prepare you for in the future!

Some rules...

1) A different and previously unfound cache must be used for each challenge.
2) You must indicate your intention to participate in this challenge by posting a note on this cache page. Only achievements made after the date of your note can be used.
3) As the cache owner, I reserve the right to delete any logs on this cache that I do not feel qualify.
4) Caching teams - At least one member of your team must complete every challenge otherwise the cache owner reserves the right to apply rule 3.
5) Try make this a proper challenge - I may ask for additional proof such as photos or track logs if your claim is hard to substantiate from cache log alone. A bookmarked list of the caches you are using would be useful!
6) The challenges can be done in any order.
7) The 5 caches by one owner must be completed on 5 separate days.
8) The challenge starts on 08th November 2011.
9) To resuscitate a cache, is to find a cache that hasn’t been found for 1 year.
10) Susiebear&co have NOTHING to do with the geolympix, other than we are hoping to attend. Further information can be found here

PS - There's no requirement to go to, or even be thinking about going to, the Geolympix to claim this one!

Huge congratulations to ***Salnrich*** for their FTF. The FTF badge has been officially awarded, please be upstanding for the anthem of their choice...
