St Michael's church, Llandre is the parish church for the extensive parish of Llanfihangel Geneur-Glyn (Llandre's real name). It's dedication to St Michael suggests an early Welsh church, although the present church was rebuilt in 1885-6. The church is associated with a Holy Well, an ancient wooded graveyard, a grade II listed lychgate and a c2,000 year old yew tree.
If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
This is the second container as the first around the corner was destroyed due to landscaping the area.
