Geocache Description:

This is a three-part series with each cache showing Hucrest’s history in different centuries: 1800s, 1900s, and 2000s.

This cache is #2 representing 1955. This was a noteworthy time in the neighborhood because Hucrest Elementary was built that year. Earlier in 1949, a landowner started the first of six subdivisions located on a small hill roughly bounded by Kline, Valley View, Keasey, and Beaumont. The man who owned the hill was Cecil Hugh, and he called his developments, "Hucrest."

The coordinates bring you to the top of Hugh's crest, which overlooks the school.
