Tida ezera platiba ir 31 ha. Ezera videjais dzilums ir 3.1 metri, bet maksimalais dzilums - 5.6 metri.
No ezera iztek maza upite Alokste (Liekupe). Pie ezera ir ari atputas baze, kuras rosiba ir pasikusi. Uz Liekupes bijušas udens dzirnavas. Dzirnavas tika nojauktas dzelzcela buves laika. Tida ezera ir skaista salina, kura ir izveidota maksligi - tur ar zirga pajugiem esot vesta grants laika, kad ezers aizsalis.

Slepnis atrodas uz salas. Tam var pieklut vai nu peldot, vai ar udenstransportu (laivu,katamaranu).

[ENG] Tida lake covers an area of ??31 ha. Lake average depth is 3.1 meters, the maximum depth - 5.6 meters.
From the lake begins a small river Alokste (Liekupe). At the lake is also a campsite, which isn't very actively used anymore. On the Liekupe there were water mill, however mill was demolished during the building of railway. In Tida lake there is a beautiful island, which was artificialy created by locals, who drawn horse wagons loaded with gravel over the frozen lake and made this island.
The cache is on the island. It can be accessed either by swimming or by any watertransport (the boat, catamaran).
