Geocache Description:

One of five 'new' Billy Twigger caches placed as part of the BTBC (Billy Twigger Bute Challenge). All five caches are close to sites where Billy Twigger caches have been previously (and are now archived).

The Isle of Bute is Scotlands most accessible island. For more details on Bute, and how to get there go to www.isle-of-bute.com.

The South Bute cache is in the south part of the island.

Be careful parking on the road near the airfield. Pay homage to the ancient standing stones, a flower, a coin or a poem, (although this is a mere diversion). The cache is not with the stones, but the secret to Captain Sparrows Treasure does!

The cache is a medium lock & lock box.
