Geocache Description:

Welcome back RCAF!

I have placed this cache in honour of Canada reclaiming its royal roots, and renaming (again) the Canada Forces as the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).

If there are Muggles about, just smile and point your GPS at an aeroplane as though it’s a camera. This area gets many daily plane-spotters, so you’ll fit right in!

This is a three stage Multi-Cache. The information you need for the 2nd and 3rd stage can be found at the published coordinates. At stage 2, you will find a TOOL which you must take with you to stage 3 to retrieve the cache. Please be discreet with the tool, and be sure to put it back as you found it, once you’ve logged your find. All 3 stages are within 100 meters of each other. I have permission to place this cache in the public area only, so please do not cross any fences or enter any gates. This is an active airport area and trespassing is taken very seriously.

If you’d like to learn more about Brantford’s involvement in pilot training during WWII, enter the terminal building. There are plenty of pictures and books for you to read – and there's a patio you can take a break on and watch the planes go by. Good luck, and have fun!

To remove the log: turn the pencil clock-wise to slide it out of the container.

First to find: Breakfast is on me!

Please solve for the following values below: (A, B, C, and D)

(A) The number of young airmen that were trained at this school, divided by 1000.

(B) The number of young airmen and instructors who lost their lives while stationed here, multiplied by 20.

(C) #5 SFTS was opened on a special day, which we continue to observe each year on this date, called * *-Day. The number of letters in that word (not including the “day”), multiplied by 30.

(D) The year that #5 SFTS closed, divided by 6.

Put a decimal in front of each answer you obtained.

(A) = 0.____________
(B) = 0.____________
(C) = 0.____________
(D) = 0.____________

Stage 2 Coordinates:
N 43’07.563” + (A), W 80’20.202” + (B)

Stage 3 Coordinates:
N 43’07.345” + (C), W 80’20.201 + (D)

*Don't forget to put the tool back* :-)

Congratulations to Jarhead5, 13coach13, and rather.b.facebooking on the FTF!! Hope you enjoy breakfast!
