Lepus silvestris Ein Rätsel um einen Hasen im Walde...

Im Gegensatz zum gemeinen Feldhasen (Lepus europaeus) lebt der sehr seltene Waldhase (Lepus silvestris) ausschliesslich im Wald und ernährt sich vor allem von Wurzelrinden, Gräsern und Brombeerranken. Das in der Nähe von Buchrain gesichtete Exemplar lebt alleine, ist sehr klein und hat sich eine Mulde zwischen den Wurzeln eines toten Baumes gegraben wo es sich meistens auch aufhält. Da Lepus silvestris sehr schüchtern ist, musst du, um ihn zu besuchen, zuerst das Rätsel lösen. Schau dir das Bild an, den Cache findest du unter N 47° 5._ _ _ / E 008° 19._ _ _. Viel Spass!

In contrast to the european hare (Lepus europaeus), the rare forest hare (Lepus silvestris) lives exclusively in the forest and feeds from roots, weeds, and blackberry bushes. The animal seen close to Buchrain lives alone and is quite small. Most of the time, it hides in a cavity close to a rootstock.
