Geocache Description:

This year's Day out in the Country will take place in the lovely small village of Thornhill, nr Stirling. This is between Blairdrummond and Aberfoyle. Scottiedogz will be at the co-ords from 11am.

In October the Trossachs becomes a riot of colour. The leaves are changing colour, fungi are appearing all over, and migrating wildfowl fill the skies with noise.

There are a series of caches planned to showcase the local area.

We will be in Thornhill from lunchtime with a stock of hearty warming soup and rolls.

We have use of the hall from 11am til 2.30pm so will be warm & dry even if it rains. Hot soup, tea & coffee will be provided. Donations of home baking would be very welcome.
