Geocaching 101 Event Cache
BenDen5: Our first event cache has come and gone but we love meeting new and old friends so much that this will not be the last event we host. Looking forward to possibly completing a full year of consecutive caching days on 7/20/11. Maybe another party for that milestone. If not, I'm sure we can always come up with an excuse to get together for a party. Thank you all again for making our first event a special one!

BenDen5 and Bella2032 will complete their 100 day streak challenge (which was started July 21, 2011) on October 28, 2011. October 29th will be day 101, hence the event name "Geocaching 101".
The event is being held in room "A" which is to the left as you walk in the front entrance. The room seats about 50 people so we should be good to go. More cachers have donated items for the raffle so we expect a good variety of cache container prizes including nanos, bison tubes and some homemade containers as well!
A private room has been booked at The Run of The Mill in Saco, Maine from 1:01 to 4pm on 10/29/11. More details to follow including possible raffles and/or Halloween themed activities. We hope all cachers available can stop by for a bite to eat or drink (adult beverage if you are 21+ if you like) and hang out to swap stories and just have a good time.
Thank you to natural_caches_4u for his generous offer to have some of his own cache containers available for raffles! I will also try to get other items for the event for a raffle. Hope everyone has a great time at our first caching event!
