Mais uma cache para quem gosta de aventura. Na sequência das restantes caches em volta da Praia dos Caneiros, esta cache leva-nos à Praia do Mato. Chama-se Praia do Mato, devido à existência de um patamar com uma vegetação muito verde e abundante. É a última praia com acesso pedestre na maré vazia a partir da Praia dos Caneiros. A cache encontra-se a Este da Garganta dos desejos, numa pequena gruta do patamar natural na base da falésia. O acesso mais simples é de barco, mas, caso as condições do mar o permitam, também pode ser feito a pé e a nado.
Se optar por ir a pé e a nado, a cache não deve ser feita sem observar as seguintes condições:

Esta cache tem uma pequena janela temporal para ser feita. Deve ser iniciada nas duas horas que procedem a maré vazia. Se for mais cedo não conseguem passar, se for mais tarde não conseguem regressar.

Nunca ir sozinho.

Todos devem saber nadar e sentirem-se completamente à vontade dentro de água.

O mar deve estar muito calmo, sem grandes ondas.

Levar calçado apropriado para andar em cima de rochas.

Não devem entrar na água sem completar pelo menos duas horas após qualquer refeição.

Levem um saco hermético para o GPS e para a máquina fotografica.

Uma lanterna dá jeito.

One more cache for those who like adventure. Following the remaining caches around the Caneiros beach, this cache brings us to the Mato Beach. It`s called Mato Beach, due to the existence of a platform with an abundant green vegetation. It´s the last beach with pedestrian access at low tide from the Caneiros beach. The cache is located East of the Throat of desires in a small cave of the natural pier at the base of the cliff. The easiest access is by boat, but if sea conditions allow, it can be also done on foot and swimming.
To enter in this adventure, please make sure that all this items are satisfied:

You only have a small window tide to do the cache! This window begins two hours before the empty tide. If you go earlier, there is to much water to pass. If you go later, you can go, but you can not came back!

Take a hermetic bag to carry your GPS and the camera.

To get to Mato beach, follow the instructions in the Cache Gruta da Afurada, and cross the tunnel completely.
