Purpose: Hmmm....what can one do at event that is outdoors, and is
late at night? Geocaching of course!
Schedule of Events:
The official sign-in for the event
will begin at 8:30 pm and continue until 11:10 pm. At the
event site, those in attendance will receive coordinates for
Three New Night Caches located
within driving distance. These new night caches will not be
formally published until 11/12/11, giving those attending the event
first shot at them. Carpooling to the caches is
encouraged...plus you just might meet some new geofriends in the
process. Remember to bring a good flashlight for night
caching. There will also be some New
Traditional Caches
release in the area close by as well. These will be published
on the day of the 11th, so keep an eye out for
them.
If you want to just take it easy and
sit around and geochat, then come and enjoy the Bon Fire! Make sure you bring a folding
chair to sit in so you can enjoy the warmth and glow of the
fire.
And what is a Geocaching event
without food? We are asking that you bring a Dessert
to share with everyone. Hot
Chocolate will already be supplied.
You can come and go as you like from
the event site while out caching or enjoying the bon fire and
treats. Please plan on making it back to the event site by
11:10 pm. Why you ask? At 11:11 pm, we will finish off the
event with a Flash Mob Photo of
all in attendance!
