Geocache Description:

Cult Kids
TV
This is a non-continuous series of caches all based around Cult Kids TV programmes. They will come from any period of television and some will be well known, others less so. The intention is to provide a range of caching locations, containers and level of challenge. The series will be added to over time…so watch this space!

Trumpton is a true Cult Kids TV programme, loved by generations. It was the middle one of three series of stop-motion animation produced by the same team, preceded by Camberwick Green and followed by Chigley. Narrated by Brian Cant, it simply told of the goings on in the fictitious town of Trumpton. Perhaps the most famous element is the fire brigade roll call which appeared in each episode (minus Cuthbert in one!) of “Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grub”. They were never called to a fire!

Amazingly only 13 episodes were made, all in 1967.

This is a simple cache and dash at the roadside with parking for 2 cars almost opposite the cache.
