Geocache Description:

One of the caches we have placed making up the Bezuidenhout Park Series, and hopefully you will enjoy finding it as much as we enjoyed hiding it. This one was placed specifically for the QS#15 event.

Bezuidenhout Park lies below Observatory Ridge, which, at 1 808 metres above sea level, is the city's highest ridge. On its eastern side it is bordered by the Bruma Lake area, with its waterways and well-known flea market, and the bustle of the Eastgate Shopping Centre. For more information on Bezuidenhout Park, look at the listings for the other caches in this series.

We had been planning a Letterbox Hybrid with some clues to find the correct tree in the park for some time due to the lack of Letterbox Hybrids on this side of Johannesburg, and decided to delay publishing it until the QS#15 event. At the same time we were finalising this, a similar cache Tree-Angle was published, making this the second Letterbox Hybrid in the area now.

At the listed coordinates, you will find yourself in a section of the park surrounded by many small trees and a few large trees. To find WHICH TREE?, walk 30 metres west and then 25 metres north. Happy hunting!

Please note that the stamp is not for trading, as this is a letterbox cache. If you have your own stamp, please stamp our logbook too. Ensure that the cache is covered again after you replace it.

Coordinates for the parking area are provided as an additional waypoint.
