Geocache Description:

A puzzling cache in Wokingham, Berkshire (not at the coordinates marked).

Peruse this little story ......

.....

Lord Cholmonderley decided to use a wood; that failed so he tried an iron; finally he switched to his putter. Still no joy.
"Father", said his son Archie, "most people use a cue when they're playing billiards" - really the old man was a liability.
(Billiards, not snooker you notice - hmmmm).
Lady C called them all into the drawing room for tea and a bit of crumpet.
Since Doris the polishing maid was off sick, she gave Lord C some horse brasses to polish, she polished the silver and Archie polished his accent.

Suddenly the calm was broken by a squeal from the kitchen. "Mummy, where's the biscuit tin ?"
It was the youngest of the family, Priscilla, who often fancied a nibble.
"It's alright, I've ........." she started - and finished. They heard a dull thump, then a dull slump - well you had to admit, Priscilla was a dull girl.
When the rest of the family rushed into the kitchen they saw the lifeless body of Priscilla on the floor.
Close to her, with a head-shaped dent in it, was a copper kettle from the hob.
"She's dead", said Lady C rather pointlessly.

"This is a case for our friend Sheerluck Homes", said Lord C, rather predictably, as they stared in horror at Priscilla's body.
"I'm sure he'll take the lead in the investigation".
While they waited for him, they returned to the drawing room - the tea was a bit cold, but hey .... they were missing Countdown!
Sheerluck was round in three minutes - well he did live next door - and Lady C let him in.
"Watching the TV are we?", he said. "How did you know" said Lady C? "Elementary my dear. What's on ?"

Sheerluck pulled out his gold pocket watch, noted the exact time and then crouched over the body to examine it.
"Aha - it's a carbon copy of what happened to Lord Featheringstonehaugh's daughter Angelica".
"Wasn't she poisoned with arsenic?", asked a puzzled Archie.
"Well, yes there were a few differences", said Sheerluck, back-pedalling furiously.

......... OK - that's quite enough. Who do you think the murderer was? I've no idea - I guess the butler did it.

You will by now have spotted 8 numbers in the above, which we'll call A to H and you might wish to note down here:

A =
B =
C =
D =
E =
F =
G =
H =

So now we compute the following :-

a = A-2
b = (A+B+C+D+E+H) +11
c = C-1
d = (E+F+G+H)*4 + A

and the 'cache' is at N51 a.b W000 c.d

Please replace the cache carefully, to be as invisible as possible. It has been muggled repeatedly in the past. It is now a black mini decon.

Parking is also very difficult around there - I suggest you park nearby and walk.
