Marchant's cross is a stone cross at the side of the road.
SPOILERS IN THE PHOTOS!
There are several stone crosses in this area, but given my maiden name is Marchant I felt I needed to place a cache here!
No stones need to be moved. Use your eyes not your hands please.
My in laws live less than a mile from this stone cross and I visit it every time I visit them!
The cross has been here since at least 13th century and used to hold the title of the tallest cross on the moor until 1937 when someone hit it with a car! The cross has since been re-erected.
