Built 1862, by Martineau. Coarse flint walls with stone dressings, flush cill band, plinth, stepped buttresses; lancets, some coupled beneath quatre- foils, 3 at the east end and 5 at the west below hoodmoulds. Steep tile roof, with diaper patterns. The tower has a short spire above the octagonal bell stage, which broaches to the square lower part; archway to the porch. The interior is Victorian in a plain Early English style, but 3 Norman arches and columns were reconstructed here from the old church at Froxfield Green (demolished 1861), being plain arches and round columns with cushion caps.
Now to the cache. You need to walk around the outside of the church and have a couple of rests.
