Le lavoir du Bourg se trouve en face de la
mairie de Saint-Bueil. Sur cet emplacement, se dressait l'église du
village, entourée de son cimetière. C'est en 1871 que ce cimetière
sera transféré à son emplacement actuel. En 1873, le projet de
construction d'une nouvelle église se fait pressant : l'église est
trop vétuste, éloignée des différents hameaux dont les habitants
sont privés du son des cloches. La nouvelle église sera construite
à La Roche. En 1880, la Mairie actuelle sera construite, abritant
l'école dont la cour de récréation recouvre l'ancien cimetière. En
1993, l'école déménage à son tour, laissant la mairie toute seule
dans le bâtiment.
Vous recherchez une boîte de pellicule photo contenant un log et
avec de la place pour des micro coins. En revanche, pas de crayon :

The washing house faces the town hall. On
this location used to stand the village church, surrounded by its
burial ground. In 1871, the cemetery was relocated to its today
site. In 1873, the need for a new church becam an urgent matter :
the church was getting dilapidated and too far away from the
different hamlets where the bells could not be heard. The new
church is built in La Roche. In 1880, the town hall building is
erected housing both the town hall and the school with its
playground above the former burial grounds. In 1993, a new school
is build, leaving the town hall on its own in the building.
