Moorgreen P1:1 Great Parking Place Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

ChrisLuv: I'm going to have to archive this as I just don't have time in June to replace it. If I can, and the site stays free, I'll replace it.

Geocache Description:

This cache was placed by Sven (Steve) who sadly died early in 2012. It is now owned by his brother ChrisLuv, and from afar by Cup, who maintain it in his memory. Steve loved Geocaching and spent many happy hours in pursuit of caches with Cup, his girlfriend.

RIP Sven, geocaching has lost a star.

The cache description below is as he and Cup originally wrote it.

January 2012 update:

Unfortunately someone is deliberately stealing and damaging my caches. 10/18 of the series has gone missing or been damaged beyond repair and I wont be replacing them.

It's a shame, some of the best in the series have gone, including caches like:

this.
and this.

Sorry someone has spoilt your fun! Happy caching.

Moorgreen Series, part 1 cache 1.

To be helpful when replacing this cache please spread a little dirt around where dirt should be so it isn't obvious where it is placed, thanks.

There is parking here for several cars, a great place to start our series.

The series is suitable for children, wheelchairs, bicycles, horses and buggies.

You are looking for 6 caches of varying size. None of them have room for swaps and most will require your own pen.

You do NOT need to cross any fences into private land, ALL caches are on the public footpaths.

As usual care will need to be taken for the muggles, this is a busy walking/cycling route.

Sven placed this one.

Favourite points welcomed :)

Part 1: Consists of mostly tiny wee and sometimes very difficult containers. Whilst there is nothing dangerous and all caches wont harm a child young ones might get bored quickly. Don't let them kill you, there's currently 21 in the series (if you pickup the other three traditional containers that aren't mine on the loop that is) and upon heading back to the car you'll have to pass through part 1 again anyway!
Part 2: Three very fun caches, a must for kids, you wont ever have seen anything like these three before at all. A lot of time, effort and money has gone into them all. You wont be disappointed. You can park close to this series see 2:1.
Part 3: Continuing on a mixed theme now. Some nano some big. Three caches with room for big swaps up here now. Certainly more and more suitable for kids. The multi is definitely worth it for the walk!
If you're intending on doing all three parts of this in one hit the walk is 5.2 miles it took a recent cacher 6 hours to complete the whole series.
