Geocache Description:

One evening back in September of 2010, I checked my email to find a bunch of notices for new caches placed by KJKlock. New caches are usually a good thing. But here I was down to two puzzle caches left within 25 miles of my location at the time. One was a solve on site thing I just hadn't got to (and still haven't), and the other was a cache that to date has been found only by HiDude_98 and Mrs_HiDude. I had the personal goal to clear out that 25 mile radius.

All of these new puzzles were challenge caches. Find a cache a day for 100 days straight, fill out your difficulty/terrain chart, find caches in "x" amount of counties, find "x" amount of travel bugs and coins, etc. My first thought - "Ugh." But now nearly a year later I know how much fun I have had trying to complete all these challenges.

I was thinking one day (which is usually dangerous), that completing the difficulty/terrain chart - The Fizzy Challenge - had an easier version called The Champagne Challenge. Why shouldn't the Jasmer Challenge - find a cache hidden each month since geocaching began - have an easier version? And so the Jasmer Lite Challenge idea started.

So what do you need to do to meet this challenge? Find caches hidden for 60 consecutive months (5 years) that includes the month you began geocaching as indicated on your profile page. For example, let's say you found your verfy first geocache in June 2006. On one extreme you could start with finding a cache that was hidden July 2001 and each month afterwards through June 2006 (a total of 60 caches). On the other extreme you could start with finding a cache hidden in June 2006 and find a cache hidden each month afterwards through May 2011 (a total of 60 caches). Or your date can be somewhere in the middle. Sticking with finding your first geocache in June 2006, you might find a cache hidden in December 2002 and each month afterwards through November 2007 (a total of 60 caches). The 60 consecutive caches don't need to be found in consecutive order - You could find May 2004 today, August 2006 tomorrow, July 2005 some other day, etc, etc, etc. You can look on your statistics page to see if you've done this, but using a program such as Geocaching Swiss Army Knife can make it easier to tell.

Permission to hide this challenge was given by KJKlock. Putting it out is my way of saying that initial frown has been turned up side down by all the fun and adventures I've had and will have as I continue to meet the goals of his challenge caches.

Difficulty rating does not come from finding this cache - it is easy - but in what you may do in completing the challenge. Actual results will vary.

Location of the cache gets really busy at times, and no one is there at others, so chose your logging time wisely!
