Primer d’una nova sèrie de geoamagatalls a Rubí, una ciutat de somni, o insomni....

First of a new series of geocaching at Rubí, a city of dream, or of insomnia....
Amb aquest geoamagatall ARPAMUNROC enceta el que pretén ser una petita sèrie de geoamagatalls de la bonica i desconeguda ciutat de Rubí, també coneguda com la “perla” del Vallès Occidental.
Rubí és, si es sap buscar bé, una ciutat de somni: té, com qualsevol altra vila, la seva història i les seves tradicions, les seves coses maques i molts racons per descobrir. Però també pot ser d’insomni: arquitectura desafortunada, urbanisme inhumà, manteniment urbà deficient, incivisme, etc. Aquesta sèrie vol mostrar-vos ambdós aspectes. Podeu estar d’acord, o no, amb la idoneïtat dels llocs escollits. L’únic que pretenem és que no us quedeu indiferents i que, en tot cas, conegueu alguna cosa més d’aquesta insigne vila. I com no, aquesta sèrie és un petit homenatge a la sèrie encetada per MERLUCIN anomenada “Rubí emblemático” amb la qual hem gaudit i, sobre tot, hem rigut moltíssim.
El carrer del Dibuixant Junceda és, sense cap mena de dubte, un dels carrers més singulars de Rubí. És curt, però intens. El seu urbanisme destaca per sobre de qualsevol altre de la ciutat de Rubí. Situeu-vos al punt del geoamagatall, gireu la vista cap el sud i gaudiu de la espectacular vista. La seva (manca) d’amplada general, les seves (minses) voreres i el seu (inexistent) arbart no fan res més que destacar la impressionant arquitectura de les edificacions que el conformen. Una arquitectura que, com és manifestament visible, (no) va tenir en compte criteris humanistes, estètics o artístics. Desconeixem que va fer o dir de Rubí aquest insigne dibuixant, per gaudir d'aquest desafortunat carrer. Joan García Junceda i Supervia (Barcelona, 1881 - Blanes, 1948) va ser un destacat il•lustrador i caricaturista català de la primera meitat del segle XX, col•laborador, entre d’altres, de les aleshores conegudes publicacions Cu-Cut i En Patufet. De la seva biografia i de la seva obra no hem pogut detectar cap greuge cap a Rubí. (s’agrairà informació al respecte...)
Com algun agut geocercador ja va observar, 16 m. a l’est, direcció a l’Av. de l’Estatut, paral·lel a aquest carrer podreu gaudir amb èxtasi urbanístic amb el Passatge de Folch i Torres. Indescriptible.

With this geocaching begins the ARPAMUNROC series that intended show a small number of geoacahings at the beautiful and unknown city of Rubí, also known as the "pearl" of Vallès Occidental.
Rubí is, if you know for well, a city of dream is like any other town its history and its traditions, its pretty places and many places to discover. But it also may be insomnia: architecture unfortunate, inhuman urbanism, urban poor maintenance, uncivil behavior, etc. This series aims to show you both. You can agree or not with the appropriateness of the chosen sites. All we want is that you will not remain indifferent and, in any case, know something more of this famous town. And of course, this series is a tribute to the series begun by MERLUCIN called "Rubí emblemático" with which we have enjoyed, and above all, we laughed a lot.
The Dibuixant Junceda Street is without doubt one of the most unique in Rubí. It's short, but intense. Its urban features cuts above any other Rubí city streets . Put yourself to the point of geoacaching, rotate your view to the south and enjoy the spectacular view. The (lack) wide overall, its (minimal) sidewalk, its (nonexistent) trees do nothing more than highlight the impressive architecture of the buildings that make up. An architecture that, as is clearly visible (not) take into account criteria humanistic, aesthetic or artistic. We do not know what he did or said of Rubí this famous artist. Joan García Junceda i Supervia (Barcelona, 1881 - Blanes, 1948) was a catalan leading illustrator and cartoonist at first half of the twentieth century, collaborating, among others, the then-known publications Cu-Cut and En Patufet. In his biography and his work and we could not detect any injury to Rubí. (we would appreciate information about it ...).
As already noted a sharp geocacher, 16 m. east, towards the Av. de l’Estatut, parallel to the street you can enjoy yourself with urbanistic ecstasy with the Passage Folch i Torres. Indescribable.
