A quick cache & dash at an interesting prehistoric settlement at Caiplich.
On the open hillside across the road lie the remains of a number of prehistoric dwelling houses built around 2500 to 3500 years ago during the bronze age by local farmers.
Please take time to read the information board it is very interesting and also take note of the final comments - Whilst you are free to wander around, please respect these sites and help to ensure that they survive for future generations. Please do not add anything to them or take anything away. Respect the countryside, take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints, leave gates & fences as you find them taking care not to disturb animals and do not light fires as they can easily burn out of control.
Now onto the cache, it is a small click & lock container with a log sheet only, you will need your own pen. It is NOT hidden within the prehistoric settlement at all.
Limited parking is available beside the information board.
