Micro Multi Cache Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Rock Rabbit: This cache hasn't been complete and findable without help since 2016. That's far longer than the typical few weeks and I can't hold those 7 locations any longer for you any longer. RIP MMC.

Geocache Description:

This could also be call the Obscure Park Tour - a series of micro-caches leading to a full sized cache

A series of eight micro-caches spread over about 11 miles (too bad you don’t get credit for 9 finds solving this one). They are listed in order from north to south, but you can do them in any order, though the first one has a work sheet for all the answers gathered at the various caches. This is Version 5 for this cache. Make sure your worksheet is so labeled.

Each micro-cache is a film cannister* that has a piece of paper with a puzzle or problem to solve. Each has its own difficulty and terrain rating. This for finding it, not for how tough the puzzle is.

You may want to do a little work ahead of time before heading out for this one. You will need something to write with, probably a compass and maybe a road map. Have fun!

Puzzle Cache Difficulty: 2 Terrain: 1 (moved 7-2-02)

47° 35.125 / 122° 09.347

This cache is larger than the others, as it contains the work sheet for all the puzzle. You could drive to this one if you weren't blocked.

Rock around the Clock Cache Difficulty: 2 Terrain: 1.5

47° 34.185 / 122° 08.706

The park is closed until "Early 2006" - this replaces the orginal until it is accessable again. You can watch the progress from here.

Crisscross Cache Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain: 1

The park is located where a bearing 124° from GC134 (47° 39.658 / 122° 25.501) and a bearing 222° from GC97D (47° 38.571 / 122° 03.270) intersect (true N bearings). It is 13.8 and 8.8 miles away respectively. The decimals for the exact cache location are .895. Watch your steps, the field is muddy at times.

Sign of the Times Cache Difficulty: 3 Terrain: 2

47° 32.212 / 122° 10.771

Park at either 47° 32.210 / 122° 10.685 or 47° 32.172 / 122° 10.745. Keep supporting this sport!

Rail against the Universe Cache Difficulty: 2 Terrain: 1

47° 30.875 / 122° 11.396

Parking lot is often locked. No need to post any messages until you complete the hunt.

Up against the Wall Cache Difficulty:2.5 Terrain: 1.5

47° 29.327 / 122° 11.179

An ‘attack plant’ guards this little container.

Tree Stand Cache Difficulty:3 Terrain:1

47° 27.508 / 122° 12.487

Look left of a low arch. Hang in there and you'll find this one.

Round Hole Cache Difficulty: 3.5 Terrain:1 (moved 7-2-02)

47° 25.171 / 122° 12.457

Map and compass, anyone? This is changed quite a bit - it both bigger and smaller. It's not a film cannister anymore - in fact the hole is the container, but the clue is removeable. Seek very carefully to find this. (For those who 'miss' the park, the parking lot is at 47 25.213, 122 12.527. You can park within feet of the cache if you want...)

Final Cache Difficulty 2.5 Terrain: 1

This is an ammo box filled with items. This is the fourth placement & container for this cache. Don't worry, I have permission to place this box this close to private property.

* Not all the micro's are film cans anymore - but they are all about that size (i.e.. no nano's).
