Vasagatan är en av huvudgatorna på Herrhagen i Karlstad och löper
tvärs igenom stadsdelen i väst-ostlig riktning. Det är en av de få
gator (den enda?) som har två vattentorn som fondmotiv; Herrhagens
vackra vattentorn från 1889 i väster samt det något mer
modernistiska Lambergets vattentorn från 1960-talet i öster.
Vid kvarteren i mitten av Vasagatan finner du många olika typer av
verksamheter och service såsom restauranger, konditori, pub, kiosk,
frisör, hantverk och diverse kursverksamhet.
Vasagatan mynnar ut i en liten park strax innan järnvägskorsningen,
där också cachen är placerad. Observera att cachen inte är placerad
på/vid järnvägsspåret – håll dig på den säkra sidan om
stängslet.

Vasagatan is one of the main roads at Herrhagen in Karlstad and it
is located in west-eastern direction right across the district. It
is one of the few roads (the only one in Sweden?) that have two
water towers as backdrop as an architectural set; the old water
tower at Herrhagen from 1889 in the west and the more modernistic
water tower at Lamberget from 1960 in the east.
At the blocks in the middle of Vasagatan you’ll find many
different types of services such as restaurants, confectionary,
pub, kiosk, hair stylist, and different education activities.
In the east, just before the road meets the railroad track,
Vasagatan falls into a small park, where the cache also is located.
Notice that the cache is not placed at the railroad tracks –
please keep yourself on the safe side of the fence.
