2024: Huge apologies to all geocachers - I realised this year that the email address I was using for geocaching was not working (and had not for many years). I will now respond to queries again. The cache is still there and still gettable.
Before starting, you need to download the correct wherigo cartridge and make sure you have a device capable of playing it. The coordinates listed are parking near the start location though you can park anywhere on the High Street on the West side of the road. The High Street stretches from Station Road to Elephant Green (about 500m) and you will need to walk the full length of the High Street to complete the tasks.
Clues about the cache appear in the cartridge at the appropriate point. You will need a pen and paper as you need to do a basic calculation to get the final coordinates. The difficulty is probably 4* without the hint and 3* with the hint. I would appreciate any comments either public or private about your successes, failures, time taken and the difficulty rating.
Lessons learned:
- If you are short, one of the items to find can be tricky to read. Other than asking a tall stranger or knocking on the door (they won't mind) perhaps you could bring binoculars and look from afar or take a photo? I'd be glad of other suggestions.
- The final coordinates seem strange, so here is a Geochecker.com page where you can check them.

I used earwigo to build this Wherigo cartridge. Wherigo building has a steep learning curve but I got there in the end. It is not for the faint hearted. The cartridge has been tested repeatedly with the free android app WhereYouGo on the HTC Hero phone and nothing else. Please report what works for you and what doesn't in your logs.
