Come meet up with others that suffer from it too.

Contests / Games

Ca$h Mania - Participants can pick up "Ca$h Mania" game sheets at the registration table the day of the event. Participants then search for permanent caches that will be listed on Geocaching.com and placed in conjunction with the event. The game sheet will have spaces for them to write the code words found in each cache. After finding all of the caches and turning in the game sheet with all of the correct code words participants will randomly receive a card with a number on it. Participants will later attempt to open a locked treasure chest using the code on their card. If the chest opens they win $250 cash! (That's right CASH not CACHE) The caches will also be available for download at the event in GSAK, so make sure you bring the appropriate cable to download them to your GPSr. NOTE: In the event no one randomly draws the number to the locked treasure chest and/or the chest goes unopened the $250.00 cash prize will be given away as a door prize.

Closest to the Pin - Participants are given GPS coordinates and they place a flag at the spot the coordinates take them to. The closet flag to the pin will win $15 cash, the second closest will win $10, and the third closest will win $5!

Creative Cache Container Contest - Participants may create and bring “Creative Caches” to the event. Limit one entry per participant. The cache containers will be on display and attendees are given ballots to vote for their favorites. CASH PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS: $30 for 1st Place, $20 for 2nd Place and $10 for 3rd Place!

Ammo Can Toss Contest (Distance) - Participants throw an ammo can three times. Their distances are added together. The longest total wins. In case of a tie throw one more can for a tie breaker. Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category.

Ammo Can Toss Contest (Accuracy) - Participants throw an ammo can at a “target” (like a bulls-eye on a target). Different circles around the target will be worth a different amount of points. Points from all three tosses are totaled for a total score. Highest score wins. In case of a tie throw one more can for a tiebreaker. Medals will be awardd to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category.

Ammo Can Packing Contest - Contestants attempt to pack a list of items into an ammo can and close it. Fastest time wins. CASH PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS: $30 for 1st Place, $20 for 2nd Place and $10 for 3rd Place!

Geo-Bingo - Attendees will receive a Geo-Bingo form and they successfully complete the form it may be turned back in at the registration table for a ticket for a chance to win a door prize.

Kid’s Kache - Coordinates to a cache container that contains goodies for the kids will be given out at the event.

Door Prizes - There will also be drawings for door prizes including $100 CASH!
Other Activities:

Travel Bugs / Geocoin Table(s) : An area will be set up and designated for travel bugs and geocoins that are intended to be moved along and another area will be set up and designated for travel bugs and geocoins that are intended to stay with those who brought them, but discovered by others.

How-To Sessions - There will be geocaching "How To" sessions throughout the day, from Geocaching 101 to how to hide a cache. Those who attend the sessions will have a chance to win door prizes at the sessions.
SPECIAL GUEST: Arkansas State Reviewer CHUCK WALLA will be on hand for a session on tips on hiding an publishing a geocache and a "Ask the Reviewer" Session!

Kid's Korner - There will be some activities to keep the kid's busy.

Post-Event Bash -When the event is over we will still be hanging around and we invite everyone who can to show up around 7:00 PM to socialize and recover from the mania with us. We are going to try and have a fire for some hot dogs and smores.
