This cache will take you to another wonderful view of the Deep River in Randleman. This is such a scenic river, we can't get enough time there.
This is a 3 stage multi cache that will bring a little history as well as the view of the river. The above coordinates will bring you to a marker. You will need to write down the project number and the date.
For the second stage, North coordinates:
Take the LAST TWO digits of the project number and add it to the LAST THREE of the posted coordinates. Checksum: if you add all three digits together, you should come up with 15.
West Coordinates: Take the last two digits the year this bridge was built. Subtract 10 from those two digits and then divide that number by 2. Subtract that number from the posted west coordinates. Checksum: if you add all three digits of the west together, you should come up to 22.
At this stage, you should have a wonderful view of the deep river. It is a nice bonus to have you post a picture of yourself overlooking the river. This is only an option, but a great photo op!
To find the final stage, go NE and count the number of archways to the end of the bridge. You should have an even number of archways and when you add the digits together, they add up to 12.
For the north, substitute the last two digits of the posted coordinates with the number of archways.
For the west, divide the number of archways by 6. Subtract that number from stage 2 west coordinates. If you did it right, you can add the last three digits of the west together and get 17.
The final coordinates should bring you within 6 feet of the cache. It is a black bison tube in a traditional location.
