Zamek w Białej Nysce / Castle in Biała Nyska

W miejscu tym wzmiankowany był w 1285 roku gród. W latach 1292-1296 na jego miejscu książę świdnicko-jaworski Bolko I zbudował zamek, który jednak jeszcze w 1296 roku został zburzony na mocy układu księcia z Janem III, biskupem wrocławskim. W XVIII wieku prawdopodobnie na miejscu tego zamku zbudowano pałac otoczony wodą. Obecnie po zamku i pałacu nie ma już śladu. Pozostała natomiast brama wjazdowa na teren pałacowy.

A town was mentioned at this site in 1285. During the years 1292-1296 the Świdnica and Jaworzno Prince, Bolko I, built a castle that was thus destroyed in 1296 by an agreement between the Prince and John III, the Wrocław bishop. In the 18th century, there was probably a palace built on the site, surrounded by water. Nowadays, ther are no traces after neither the castle nor the palace; only the entrance gate remains.
