Ein traditioneller cache beim Starthaus der Streif. Die Aussicht vom Starthaus is phänomenal, im Tal sieht man Kitzbühel und im Norden den Wilden Kaiser.
Der Blick der sich vom Starthaus aus bietet ist der gleiche den die Athleten sehen kurz bevor sie starten.
Die Beschleunigung hier ist enorm, die ersten 160 Meter werden im Rennen durchschnittlich in nur 8,5 Sekunden (!) zurückgelegt.
Achtung: Falls Probleme beim suchen auftreten sind ein Hinweis und ein Spoiler in den Bildern enthalten
English:
A traditional Geocache near the point from which the athletes start in the Streif Ski run. The starting hut has a breathtaking view of the city of Kitzbuehel down in the valley as well as the "Wilder Kaiser" to the north, one of the most renowned mountains in the Tirol alps.
From this vantage point you will have the same vista as the athletes about to start the race.
Acceleration in this segment of the Streif is enourmous the first 160 meters (~520 feet) are passed within mere 8.5 seconds!
