On a Public Footpath alongside the line that used to feed the old East Kirkby Colliery known locally as Summit Pit. You do not have to go on any British Rail property.The cache is accessible from the path which unfortunately is unsuitable for wheelchairs, buggies, or cycles due to having to negociate 24 concrete steps to reach the footpath which is muddy and slippery after rain. Nearest parking is Southwell Close, but please be considerate as this is a residential area. Parking also available in the nearby Industrial Estate.
