Accessible pour les bon marcheurs ( 5h aller retour par le chantier de la Chapelle 6-8h par le Zèbre ou la Grande Jument)
Par le sentier de la Chapelle , depuis le village de l Entre-Deux, prendre la direction Ravine des Citrons et continuer (environ 1 demi heure) jusqu’à la piste forestière ,marquée par un portail
Laisser son véhicule là( l‘accès en 4x4 par la piste est déconseillé , car extrêmement difficile , il est cependant possible de faire appel aux professionels du tourisme spécialisés en excursions en 4x4 )
A quelques pas, le sentier part immédiatement sur la gauche.2h30 de montée et de marches( chemin parfois étroit et glissant) ,recompensé à l 'arrivée par un superbe point de vue sur Cilaos et ses environs.Si vous avez le temps prévoyez une visite de l’espace muséographique( sur réservation). Possibilité de passer la nuit sur place dans des gîtes ou refuges( sur réservation).
Accessible for good walkers( 5h round-trip via the path of "La Chapelle", 6-8h via le "Zèbre" or la "Grande Jument".
From the path "Sentier de la Chapelle":coming from the village of Entre-Deux, take direction to "Ravine des citrons" (about half an hour by car) to the parking that marks the beginning of the track (marked by a gate).Leave your car there (the track is extremely difficult and only accessible with good local knowledge and allroad vehicles-but you have the possibility to book excursions by jeep with local suppliers –only in advance and starting from your location on the Island)
There are only a few steps to the well-marked path. It goes for 2 ½ hours upwards. Caution :the path can be slippery and some parts are narrow.
Arrived on the top you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of Cilaos.
If you have time : plan a visit to the Espace muséographique (guided tour or by yourself)
Possibility to spend the night over there in shelters and refuges( on reservation only)
Für gute Wanderer erreichbar: über den Pfad "La Chapelle" ca. 5 Stunden Wanderweg-steil bergauf,6-8 Stunden über "Le Zèbre" oder "La Grande Jument"
Der Weg über den „Sentier de la Chapelle“: aus dem Dorf Entre-Deux kommend,Richtung „Ravine des citrons“ (etwa eine halbe Stunde mit dem Auto) bis zum Anfang der Piste ( durch ein Tor gekennzeichnet), fahren.Stellen Sie Ihr Fahrzeug dort bitte ab (die Befahrung der Piste ist extrem schwierig und nur mit guten Ortskenntnissen und Geländewagen möglich- es besteht jedoch die Möglichkeit Ausflüge im Voraus mit Geländewagen bei lokalen Anbietern zu buchen )
Es sind nur wenige Schritte bis zum gut beschilderten Pfad .Es geht während 2 ½ Stunden aufwärts. Achtung der Weg ist oft rutschig und an manchen Stellen nicht sehr breit.Am Aussichtspunkt angekommen werden Sie mit einem herrlichen Ausblick auf Cilaos belohnt.
Wenn Sie Zeit haben planen Sie einen Besuch des Espace muséographique ein (Führung- nur auf französich) .
Eine Übernachtung in Schutz- und Berghütten ist möglich( im Voraus zu reservieren).
