The Kent County Cachers Event Cache #24 is to be held from :-
12 noon ---til--- 4pm on 17th September 2011 at
The Rising Sun Pub ,
Twitton Lane , Otford , Sevenoaks , Kent . TN14 5JR
We will be meeting in the Pub garden where we have a Marquee and some food will be available to buy from a BBQ.
Parking is avalible in the carpark just down the road behind the beer garden or on the road outside the pub, be warned it is a narrow road so carpark will be best
The small pub dates back to 1880 and is the centre of the small hamlet of Twitton .
Twitton once was home to many prefabs from the second world war now they are all go with new houses built on the site, you can still see the old chapel, this now a garden shed, it was made of corrugated iron sheets and I can remember going there as a kid.
I have 6 new caches called ”The Twitton Others” set for the Event.
This is a mini series around the fields near the pub, a circular walk of 1.4 miles.
These 6 caches will be Pulished Around 12 noon on the 17th September (I will hand out co-ords + hints at 12noon.)
