Linksfield Radio Tower Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

TeamSpags: We haven't been able to find a suitable replacement container for this hide that doesn't change the concept of the cache completely, so their is unfortunately no quick fix available. This was our first hide, and so it is with a heavy heart that it will have to be archived.

We really think this is a fantastic spot, and is deserving of a great cache. We may place a new cache here some time in the future if we can come up with an idea for an interesting hide.

Geocache Description:

This cache is situated on the top of a hill in the Linksfield area, next to a radio tower, with great views of the surrounding areas. There is parking available at the top of Linksfield drive, with the cache a short walk away from this parking area. The cache has space for trade items.

The listed coordinates are those of the cache itself. It should be easy enough to find the cache, but the cache is protected by a combination lock. The combination can be found by completing the following Sudoku puzzle:

Solve the following Sudoku puzzle to find the 4 digits in the blue blocks, labelled A to D:
(Remember/write down these numbers, you will need them when you get to the cache!)

VERY IMPORTANT: Once you are done with the cache, please reset the combination on the lock by pushing the buttons out from behind. Please ensure that the lock is secure before leaving.

Please replace the cache as it was, before leaving the cache area.
Although this is not a very busy spot, I would not recommend attempting this cache if there are muggles at the viewpoint.
There is a boom gate at the bottom of Linksfield drive, however we have never had any problems getting through to the cache location - if the security guard asks where you are going, say you are going to the viewpoint at the top of the hill. ** We hope you enjoy this cache (^.^) **
