Noua Cruce de pe Cetatuie, numita si Monumentul Eroii Neamului, este dedicata memoriei martirilor Revolutiei de la 1848-1849. Crucea originara fusese înaltata în 1936–1937, în memoria celor întemnitati în aceasta temuta fortareata si a fost dinamitata de comunisti în anul 1948.

Monumentul Rezistentei Anticomuniste de la Cluj are forma unui cub masiv, cu dimensiunea de 6 x 6 x 6 m, acoperit cu marmura, cub care simbolizeaza o celula a temnitelor comuniste. Doua fete opuse ale cubului sunt pline si in nisele lor de umbra sunt inscrise denumirile inchisorilor in care au suferit detinutii anticomunisti. Celelalte doua fete laterale ale cubului evoca, claustrarea dezumanizanta din celulele de inchisoare, unde speranta se intrezarea doar printre zabrelele golului de iluminare.

Monumentul Memorandistilor din Cluj-Napoca este dedicat luptei de emancipare nationala a românilor transilvaneni si a fost ridicat în cinstea fruntasilor memorandisti, judecati si condamnati la Cluj în 1894 pentru ca au avut curajul de a se ridica contra masurilor de deznationalizare a românilor luate de guvernul austro-ungar.

“Glorie Ostasului Român” este un monument închinat celor care s-au jertfit pentru apararea gliei strabune, unitatii si independentei nationale. Pe un soclu de piatra se înalta un arc de triumf, înconjurat de siluetele de bronz ale unor ostasi din epoci diferite, un ostas cazut la datorie si un personaj simbolizând “Victoria”.

Monumentul „Stâlpii împuscati” sau Monumentul Eroilor Revolutiei din Decembrie 1989 este un omagiu adus eroilor Revolutiei din Decembrie 1989, când la Cluj au murit 26 de oameni dintre care 13 în Piata Unirii si au fost raniti 57, din care 28 tot în Piata Unirii. The New Cross on the Fortress hill, known as National Heroes Monument is dedicated to the memory of the martyrs of the Revolution of 1848-1849. Original cross was erected in 1936-1937, in memory of those imprisoned in the dreaded fortress and was dynamited by the communists in 1948. On a board, on the southern side are mentioned the names of some of the heroes commemorated by this monument.

Anticomunist Resistance Monument in Cluj-Napoca has a massive cube shape, size 6 x 6 x 6 m, covered with marble, cube that represents a communist dungeon cell. Two opposite sides of the cube are filled with shadow niches in wich are written the names of the prisons where anti communist prisoners have suffered. The other two sides of the cube faces evoke, claustration, dehumanizing prison cells, where only the hope was looming among enlightining gap lattices. On each of these two faces is represented the communist symbol, Sickle and Hammer, broken into several pieces.
