Geocache Description:

Located in Belvoir Forest Park, Belfast, Co Down, Northern Ireland. Mostly paths/firebreaks, some hills. Altitude: 73m ASL.

Note Belvoir is pronounced "beaver".

Cache Location: The cache has been resurected on 4th Feb 2007, The co-rds have been checked and averaged at N54°33.3140' / W005°56.331' WGS84 using a number of fixes from Garmin 60CSX and 12XL This is the first Cache placed in Belfast and the first in Northern Ireland, and hence could probably be placed in the UK section also. The Cache is a 8inchx5inchx1inch tupperware type box,the GeoCaching Logo is on top. The Cache contains all the usual things: pens, baloons etc. You can park your car/moped/helicopter at:N54°33.4527' / W005°55.7353' or at: N54°33.0820' / W005°56.0014' The large structure mentioned in the previous description has long since been destroyed so just let your GPS take you down the paths in this lovely park until you get to the area of the "tree of many trunks" then down the hill towards the firebreak and three-path junction. If you get to it you've walked straight past the Cache! You may encounter signal problems in trees, particularily in summer when there are plenty of leaves. Thanks to Flarkey for placing the original.
