The fortieth of a series of caches celebrating the iconic Red Phone Box. It's not quite a TARDIS, but it's getting close. These caches will be placed in (or on) phone boxes around Bath and the eastern side of Bristol, across the Counties that Used to be Avon (CUBA).
This is a SCUBA cache, placed in an underwater phone box with permission from Lord Rassilon and the dive site owners. The coordinates are a good place to enter the water from and seek the phone box. There are two phone boxes at the dive site to choose from, but only 1 with a cache in, so choose carefully. The idea of this cache is to navigate to it under water - anything else is considered cheating! You can obtain maps of the quarry from the portacabin at the entrance.
The cache is about 12m underwater, and can be reached from the exterior of the phone box. As the phone box is padlocked shut I would strongly advise you not to waste energy trying to force the door open!
To seek this cache you must be a qualified PADI open water diver or equivalent, or be diving with a dive instructor. Diving without proper training and supervision can cause injury or death. You seek this cache at your own risk. Please don't hesitate to send me a message if you need advice about learning to dive.
