Conceived during the 10 10 10 event, the 11 11 11 event is
on!
Things may change as this event is quite some time into the
future, but here is the general idea: as this is a Friday, we meet
at 6:30 pm at Washbourne Gardens with a Takeaway dinner.
At 7 pm we have a cache finding race. Every individual is
given the same set of coords - you need to find one container in
the park. It is a TIMED race. The cache gets reset the same
way between finds. The people with the 5 fastest times are then
entered into the final race for the special 11/11/11 prize ;). Same
deal: best time wins! The fun part, those of us not in the last 5
can sit around the final and watch them struggle one by one.
PRESSURE!!! The first cache will be small, the 2nd a camoed
nano...
Apart from that bit of frivolous fun, the night is just to mix
and mingle and have a good gossip.
You will need to bring your own dinner, your GPS, and a sense of
lighthearted fun.
