THE PIRATE'S
CODE:
RULE #1: You
MUST come dressed as a pirate or wench. Male or female ...
your choice ... take your pick. (we can see the wheels turning
already!)
RULE #2:
Feel free to ignore the code and come as you are. You must be a
pirate for the Pirate's Code to apply anyway. The code be more what
you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules.
The evening's festivities
begin with a Low Country Boil (Jumbo steamed coastal shrimp, smoked
sausage, fried chicken, fresh corn on the cob, parsley new
potatoes, Savannah red rice and more). Meal tickets can be
purchased in our Ship's Store.
NOTE: All food items are prepared
separately.
After dinner, grab your game
card/map and venture out into the dark. Plunder the booty of the
scallywags Cap'n Fatkids 'n crew before they can weigh anchor and
set sail aboard the Pearl of Skidaway!
Next, put to port at the
Pirate Shanty Town. There, you'll visit pirate magicians, card
sharks, jugglers, fortune tellers, tattoo artists and other
ne'er-do-wells. We'll even have a crusty old seadog manning the
grog bowl (hot apple cider).
Be sure to bring your own
chairs and gather 'round the stage for the Jolly Roger
Revue! You're in for a treat as The Pirate Players take the
stage and put on some of the worst singing, acting and story
telling you've ever seen. General mayhem is
guaranteed.
Immediately following the
show, we will present the Pirates & Wenches of the
World talent contest where the crowd is judge, jury and
executioner!
