Geocache Description:

Ssssnakes!!!

Please join us for the 10th GGA Snake Presentation.

Once again Dr. Mark Patterson with the Georgia Herpetological Society will entertain and inform us about our wonderful reptile friends.

This is truly an "up close and personal" experience with snakes of all sorts. Learn the facts and fiction about how to tell a venomous creature from one that is not, and what to do if you have an unfortunate encounter with a poisonous snake. Dr. Patterson also shares statistics that are far less shocking than what you would think.

Dr. Patterson will also have an announcement on new guidelines for placing caches in Gwinnett parks.

The meeting will be held Saturday August 13, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the beautiful Little Mulberry Park in Dacula, GA. Come early and enjoy the hiking / biking trails as well as the caches in the park.

Although there will be no charge for the pavilion rental, we will pass the hat to collect an honorarium for our presenter.
