General:
The cache type is
a traditional small cache and it should be an easy to find. Out of
respect the cache is not on or near any graves.
My daughter
discovered this one while doing some sport at the centre close by.
For some reason we never expected to find a cemetery in town and we
missed it several times while driving pass.
This is the
original cemetery for Nigel and the youngest grave was done during
1950. The cemetery is not active and it is a bit neglected but a
couple of these graves have interesting history. You will also find
the gravesite of a couple of military personnel that have died in
the second world war of 1942. On the opposite side of the cache you
will find the Jewish cemetery. These people lived in the glory days
of Nigel during the mining era. Nigel was declared a town during
1930.
